Social Group Support role
About this opportunity
This role supports young parents with babies and toddlers with suspected or diagnosed additional needs to connect with other families in their local community. Trained facilitators lead the group sessions, and the volunteer will assist with various tasks:
Welcome families on arrival; assist with registering their attendance and support them to join the group; engage with families during the session; offer refreshments; pack up at session's end. The role is ideal for a vibrant energetic person who sees value in supporting parents and children.
