Take Action for the Saltmarsh!

About this opportunity

Help us look after the saltmarsh at Browns River, where we'll be joining the Kingston Beach Coast Care group to support their amazing and ongoing efforts to look after Browns River and other key natural areas in Kingston Beach.

We will be weeding and mulching close to the saltmarsh, which will encourage native vegetation to provide shelter and food for wildlife. Some of our smaller critters rely on specific native plants to survive, so weeding and mulching around these natives will encourage all kinds of fauna - big and small - and maintain the health of this ecosystem.

Our event will provide you with a great opportunity to connect with your local environment, work in a beautiful spot and give back to nature.

Free event, all welcome! Please wear a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, fully enclosed shoes (steel caps preferred) and a hat.
