Social Support Volunteer for Residential Aged Care Home in Liverpool

About this opportunity

Sharing your time and interests with an older person will be rewarding and fun for you and brings many benefits to the older person.
The clients/residents needing visitations are from diverse backgrounds and are interested in going out for coffee, spending time in garden or just a simple chit chat about current affairs, music, and many other things If you are keen and meet the following criteria, you are encouraged to apply:

• are over 18 years of age.
• have empathy and care for older people.
• have received 2x covid vaccinations.
• are willing to get your national police check done by Catholic Healthcare, free of cost.
• can do once a fortnight 1-hour visits, for a minimum of 6 months commitment /availability.
