Committee Member-Joondalup Christmas Lunch
About this opportunity
The Joondalup Christmas Lunch is an award-winning volunteer led event started in 2008, which provides a catered lunch, festivities, and fellowship on Christmas Day for those who are isolated from friends/family or in financial distress. The planning committee are local volunteers who coordinate and execute the event including sourcing funding, volunteers, risk management, entertainment, publicity, catering and event logistics. We are seeking Expressions of Interest for people to join the planning committee for 2024 and beyond. People need to be comfortable using email, Microsoft Word and conversing with people from different backgrounds and settings to represent the Joondalup Christmas Lunch in a professional and friendly manner. Meetings are the first Monday evening of each month either in person (Mindarie) or virtual, running February to December plus Christmas day event attendance. Team members work together to ensure a seamless event day, so if you would like to help contribute, please reach out! 2023 Guest Feedback: “Thank you for all your hard work. Additional requirements
National Police Certificate *.
One hour per week with meetings held on the first Monday evening of each month either in person (Mindarie) or virtual, running February to December plus Christmas day event attendance at Central Park, Joondalup.
