About this opportunity
Companion Volunteers provide non-clinical conversation and a friendly ear.
- Introduce yourself to patients, listen to and talk with as opportunities arise.
- Provide non-clinical conversations with patients while sitting with them.
- When appropriate clinically walk with ambulatory patients within the hospital.
- When appropriate participate in diversional and social activities with patients including (but not limited to) painting, drawing, cards, puzzles.
Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *.

* Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.
