About this opportunity

Companion Volunteers provide non-clinical conversation and a friendly ear.

  • Introduce yourself to patients, listen to and talk with as opportunities arise.
  • Provide non-clinical conversations with patients while sitting with them.
  • When appropriate clinically walk with ambulatory patients within the hospital.
  • When appropriate participate in diversional and social activities with patients including (but not limited to) painting, drawing, cards, puzzles.


Additional requirements

Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *.
