Seeking Volunteer Arabic Translator: Make a Difference in the Lives of Seniors!
About this opportunity
- Attend weekly sessions (2-3 hours) and translate engaging guest speaker presentations on various topics (health, culture, etc.) tailored for seniors.
- Foster communication and understanding between speakers and our Arabic-speaking participants.
- Contribute to an inclusive and welcoming environment for seniors from diverse backgrounds.
No certification required! We welcome enthusiastic individuals with strong Arabic language skills and a desire to serve the community. Familiarity with translating for older adults is a plus.
Time Required
Every thursday, speakers will be invited to attend between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM
