ADMINISTRATION AND COMMUNICATION VOLUNTEER
About this opportunity
CCOEI is seeking a volunteer to assist the Secretary. The Position Description is as follows:
Database Maintenance:
- Update and maintain the organization's database with accurate and current information.
- Assist in organizing and categorizing data for efficient retrieval.
Newsletter Editing and Publishing:
-Compile community events monthly, create or collate submitted content
- Edit and proofread content for the online community newsletter, ensuring clarity, coherence, and adherence to the organization's messaging.
Social Media Management:
- Manage and update social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) to enhance online presence.
- Create engaging content to promote community events, initiatives, and relevant updates.
Assistance in Event Organization:
- Collaborate with the secretary in planning and organizing monthly community events.
- Assist in communicating event details to the community and coordinating logistical aspects.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in content writing and editing.
- Familiarity with WordPress for website content management.
- Experience with Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team entirely of volunteers.
- A police check will be required.

Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *.
Team player and spirit of volunteering.
The work can be done from home on a computer. Preparing a newsletter about 4 hours Maintaining database about 1 hour Help at MSC Meetings about 3 hours General adminstration about 4 hours Total in a month approximately 14 hours i.e: 3.5 hours a week.
