The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of CAN Community Support.
Our Homework Club is run but CAN Community Support in Carlton. It runs Monday and Tuesday 4pm - 6pm at Kathleen Syme Library in Carlton and 3:30 - 5:30pm at Carlton Primary School. We are looking for mature tutors to join our sessions weekly (or more!) during school terms (no school holidays!). Perfect for students and retirees or part-time workers. Tutors work under the support of our two co-ordinators and large team of volunteers. They provide small group support to students to help building their literacy and numeracy schools through both formalised learning activities as well as lots of fun games! Ideally tutors would commit to one or more sessions a week for the entire year during term time.

Covid-19 vaccination . Working with Children Check *.
One or more two hour afternoon sessions a week during term time for the whole year.
