Qualtime Association Inc is a leading NDIS service provider on the north side of Brisbane. Qualtime operates 7 days a week and delivers a wide range of programs, services and support such as STA, SIL, LEARN, CB Programs, In Home Support, 24/7 Houses, Social Programs and Community Access.
Qualtime's approach is flexible which empowers the Client, providing greater choice and control. Our core business is the provision of high-quality support services for people living with a disability and their carers, and the cost-effective expenditure of funds. Now in our 29th year of operation and positioned for further growth we are seeking suitably qualified and experienced individuals to contribute their knowledge as a valued Board member.
A Board Member will assist in:
- Ensuring Qualtime has a clear vision, mission and strategic direction
- Fundraising, Marketing
- Organising and attending events including our annual Christmas Party
- Monitoring the organisational performance including financial and legal compliance, and
- Ensuring Qualtime governance is of the highest standard.
The successful candidates should have the following attributes:
- Good business acumen
- Great communication skills
- Exhibit behaviour to the highest ethical standards in the best interest of the organisation
- Passion for giving back to the community as a volunteer
- Commitment to be an active member of a small, dedicated team
- General knowledge of NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme).
Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . Driver's Licence . NDIS screening check . Others . Working with Children Check *.
Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Card; Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
3-4 hours preparation time per month, plus monthly board meetings - 3rd Tuesday of month from 4.00pm to 6.00pm (in person). Other days as required and as time permits.
Suitable for- Skilled Volunteers
A full board member induction will be provided.
