VIC ICT for Women on the day volunteer
About this opportunity
VIC ICT for Women is looking for volunteers to support our events on the day. An on the day volunteer will receive basic induction and will assist in some of the following activities:
Room set up and break down
Greeting attendees
Supporting program members with running of activities The following programs will be looking for on the day volunteers:
Go Girl Go for IT - Held in August, one day event at Deakin University Burwood Campus - Time commitment - 8-10 hours on the day. Held during business hours.
Grad Girls - Events held monthly in the CBD - Time commitment - 4-6 hours on the day. Mix of day and evening events.
What's Hot in Tech - 3 Events held across the year in the CBD - Time commitment - 4-6 hours on the day. Evening events only.
Additional requirements
Working with Children Check *.
If the volunteer wishes to participate in the Go Girl event (not a requirement) then a working with children check is required.
