About this opportunity

We are looking for people with trades skills, handyman skills to join us in a voluntary capacity to establish and facilitate a workshop program on our site to support groups of individuals in gaining skills that they can use to build and create things in the workshop for use at home or to other community initiatives. The program would run up to 4 days per week, initially 2 days for 4hrs per day. The task would be to develop some plans around activities and then to run a workshop with our clients and teach them safety, how to use different tools and how to work together to create and complete little projects - an example would be things like garden beds, wooden Christmas trees and any other ideas. You will have all the support you need to get it going.
