Cleaners
About this opportunity
Experience in cleaning preferred but not required. Tasks include cleaning of rolling stock and historic artefacts, as well as general cleaning of kitchens, toilets and offices. Physical work such as bending, vacuuming, sweeping and some light lifting is required. Requires attention to detail and care. Non-toxic cleaning.
Declaration of existing medical conditions is requested.
National Police Checks and Working With Children Checks are required which can be facilitated through the NRM at no cost.

* As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Voluntary Workers Personal Accident Insurance).
* Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.
Weekdays, flexible 7am to 5pm with a minimum of four hours weekly. No evenings.
