We are looking for people who love to drive, are caring and love dealing with people. Your friendly nature and good communication skills will be highly regarded in this role.
Duties:
Provide safe and reliable door to door transport to our clients.
Ensure all passengers travel comfortably and safely between destinations.
Trip details are communicated through fitted, in-vehicle transport specific devices.
Drivers may also be required to assist with walkers, wheelchairs and the like. Carers sometimes accompany clients.
Provide assistance to clients accessing the vehicle and ensure safe delivery into the facility they are attending or to their own home
Desirable Skills:
Willing to work on roster basis.
Current first aid certificate is an advantage.
Open to working with people from diverse backgrounds.
To be considered for this position you will be required to:
Submit a current resume
Provide or be willing to undertake a police check
Provide a minimum of one reference
In addition to the transport, the service provides highly valued incidental social interaction with our clients. CWI highly values the contribution that our Volunteers make.

Current First Aid Certificate* or willingness to obtain. Current Police Check* or willingness to obtain. Covid-19 Vaccination
Flexible between : 7am to 4.30pm (weekdays)
