Your role
This position requires someone who could be a role model for a young student. You are needed to provide social and emotional support to a primary aged student. Our volunteers come from diverse backgrounds, you maybe a retiree, a stay at home parent, a university student or someone looking to give back. Experience in a school is not compulsory but you do need to be supportive, positive, understanding and have a genuine interest in helping young people to succeed.

Interview and 2 references. This role is not suitable for people looking for full-time employment.
Minimum of 1hour every week during the school terms for the school year in school hours.

EdConnect provide structured training and on-going support to all volunteers. An induction course is provided so that volunteers are trained in their role before starting in a school.
