About this opportunity

The volunteer will need to undertake the following tasks:

*Collect residents from the specified pick-up point and drive them to the specified venue at a prescribed time

*Ensure seat belts are fastened before driving

*Ensure that all road and parking rules are obeyed and that passengers alight in a safe area

You will need to wait for the residents to complete their shopping or other activities before driving them back to the village

Personal qualities:

*Class C Driver Licence is required to drive the bus

*Show patience, kindness and empathy for all passengers

*Great interpersonal skills and ability to make personal connections with people from different backgrounds

*Be reliable and committed

*Have sound knowledge of road rules

*Be familiar with the geographic region in which they are driving

Driver's Licence (C) .

NDIS Worker Screening Check - we will guide you through the process of obtaining the check

Time Required

Tuesday mornings between 9:30 am - 12 noon. Ideally weekly commitment but you may share the role with other volunteers in which case it would be fortnightly commitment
