About this opportunity
As a Volunteer Vet you will play a vital role in assisting and supporting both animals and pet owners affected by bushfires and other emergencies in NSW. Your primary responsibilities will be providing animal health checks to pets in need at evacuation centres and RSPCA Relief Points.
This role is suited to applicants who are passionate about helping people and animals during times of emergency.

Heavy Lifiting
Other: Registered veterinary surgeon with 2+ years of experience (essential) Experience working in a team environment Ability to empathise and communicate with individuals experiencing hardship and trauma Demonstrated affinity with animals and a commitment to animal welfare Complete our online induction and quiz within 7 days Volunteers could be required to lift heavy equipment and spend long periods of time standing
Volunteers are needed on an as-needed basis during emergency situations. The time commitment may vary depending on the scale and urgency of relief efforts. Volunteers will be informed of deployment opportunities in advance
