About this opportunity

Since 1992, Picabeen has been a pivotal force in our community, continually expanding its role to become a versatile hub dedicated to fostering social cohesion and community engagement. The centre offers essential support and interventions for young individuals facing various challenges, ensuring they have access to the necessary resources and guidance. The Youth Team also offers Case Management for Young People. They provide comprehensive case management services designed to empower young individuals in overcoming obstacles and realizing their full potential. Through the No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) program, Picabeen assists individuals and families in accessing affordable loans for essential goods and services.

These diverse initiatives exemplify Picabeen's commitment to serving the community's evolving needs. Moreover, Picabeen receives ongoing funding from the Department of Communities, Child Safety, and Disabilities to support the Neighbourhood Centre Initiative and the Youth Services Initiative.
