About this opportunity
Are you someone who enjoys socialising and supporting others in joining in conversation?
Would like to take refreshment orders and serve older people at tables in a coffee shop style setting in our Aged Care home?
Your help will contribute to social conversation and connecting people together.
Our coffee shop operates Tuesday afternoon once a month from 1pm to 3.30pm and as needed for birthday celebrations from 1pm - 3pm.
Key duties include:
Assisting with setting up the activity room and decorating tables.
Supporting the Group Planner in taking Coffee and cake orders.
Serving items when instructed by Group Planners.
Assisting with dishwasher and packing-up.
Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . Flu vaccination . National Police Certificate *.
Experience in café work, shop work, or working in customer service would be an asset. Good communication skills.
Reliable with a fun attitude.
Enjoy being around older people and willingness to spread joy to our residents.
Minimum of 3 Covid-19 Vaccinations.
Background checks will be arranged and costs covered by ACH Group as part of the on-boarding process.
Coffee Shop – Tuesday afternoon once a month 1-3.30 (2.5 hours). Birthday Celebration – 1-3.00 pm (2 hours) as needed.
