About this opportunity
Position Titl: NightWatch Volunteer
Goals & Impact of the Role: Night patrol in the entertainment precincts, as part of the team that “watches out for you when your good times go bad.”
Duties and Responsibilities: Patrolling streets, offering listening ear and helping hand, administrating first aid, being a calming presence through teamwork.
Time Requirements: Approx 7-14 hours per fortnight, on overnight weekend shifts.
Location options: Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Bundaberg, Gladstone, Rockhampton.
Work Environment: Public spaces in entertainment precincts, plus Rest & Recovery space. Essential PPE and training provided.
Skills & Qualifications: Blue Card essential; First Aid and CPR advantageous pre-training; clear spoken and written communication; ability to use radio communication advantageous.
