Aged Care - Maintenance Volunteer - Erina
About this opportunity
We are looking for a reliable person to assist us one to two days per week to keeping our Residential Care Home looking its best. Duties may include tidy up of our gardens, pruning, minor repair or maintenance, changing light globes, BBQ checks, pressure washing paths, re-arranging storerooms, painting, refinishing outdoor furniture, lubricating door locks and so on. Volunteering as a Maintenance Handyperson Volunteer can be a rewarding experience, both for the people you interact with as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. In your daily tasks and routine, you will cross paths with residents interested in what you are doing and who love a chat.

Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . Flu vaccination . National Police Certificate *. NDIS screening check .
National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare• Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination will be required and annual flu vaccination as well as NDIS Worker Clearance
Any day and any time between 9am and 5pm.
