Telecross Volunteer

About this opportunity

Telecross volunteers are rostered to make up to 20 brief phone calls in one hour, with shifts available every morning of the week from 8-9am, including weekends, to check on the wellbeing of clients.

Volunteers log in and keep records of all the calls made, ensuring the confidentiality of clients is always maintained. Calls may be to any location within Australia including Western Australia.


Additional requirements

National Police Certificate *.

For this role you will need good conversational skills and the ability to relate to older people.

You will be comfortable using computers and be able to learn the web-based system designated for the service. You will need access to a computer/laptop or tablet with a stable internet connection.

Being able to speak a second language and having customer service experience is not necessary but would be highly regarded.
