Social Links Volunteer
About this opportunity
We are looking for volunteers with the following skills, interests and experience.
- A genuine interest in working to improve social connections for older people.
- A variety of interests and willingness to share these with clients.
- The ability to communicate with a diverse range of people including the elderly and people with a disability.
- Ability to look after client’s wellbeing and display care and empathy.
- Reliability and punctuality.

Additional requirements
National Police Certificate *. Others . Working with Children Check *.
Volunteer induction, ongoing training and support provided. First Aid Certificate is required or willingness to complete. City of Kingston will organise and pay for this as needed.
Up to 2 hours per week or fortnight depending on availability. Monday to Friday in between 9am and 5pm.
