About this opportunity
The Mission to Seafarers sells phone SIMs and Recharge cards to visiting seafarers. We need to record the personal identification details of each person who purchases a SIM. This is a legal requirement and it requires care to consistently record the correct information for the compliance of the Mission. The role requires maintenance of stock levels of the various phone cards. The information is stored in Excel spreadsheets on a Cloud storage system. Purchases of stock are made by email. Sales to seafarers may involve emails. Pick up and delivery of Phone cards can be made by others, if necessary. This is an important element of the service that the Mission provides for seafarers.
Additional requirements
The work can be carried out entirely from home using a computer.
A safe area to store the stock of phone cards is required approx 300x300mm.
The time involved is variable and depends upon the timing of requests from seafarers. it may involve 2 or more hours per month
