Volunteer Grant Application Writer
About this opportunity
The Maslin Beach Community Association is seeking assistance in grant applications from the City of Onkaparinga & potentially other State Government grants.
Some local council grants are open all year, until the funding has been fully allocated while other grants have an open and close date with a competitive assessment process.
Grant Writers research, draft and submit proposals that help organizations or individuals receive grant funding.
They also work with leaders in the organization to identify financial needs and ensure they reach their annual goals.
As a Volunteer Grant Writer for the Maslin Beach Community Association (MBCA) you will be responsible for:
- conducting grant research and planning which includes reading the guidelines and application form; speaking to the Grants Officer and identifying a timeline of application deadlines.
- prepare proposals and submit grants to secure capital.
- provide regular updates to the committee on grant offerings, timelines and progress in grant applications.
- confident in making applications through an online forms process when required.
Additional requirements
Driver's Licence (C) .
During grant application period This makes it flexible for times volunteering over the week.
