Youth Program Volunteer (Brisbane (Greater), QLD)
About this opportunity
Volunteers actively engage with and support young people during AKKF programs as we undertake a variety of exciting activities (i.e. kayaking, go-karting, laser tag, zoo visits, art workshops, circus arts and more!).
Our activity days (single day) and weekend camps focus on social engagement and are structured around activities. We also conduct mental health chat groups during these programs which aim to increase understanding of mental illness and reduce stigma.
As an AKKF volunteer, you'll have control of signing up for the programs you can participate in via a smart phone app. We ask that you have regular weekend availability and can support our programs at least once per month.
If you are ready to make a difference in the lives of young people - please register your interest now!
