Join our incredible Volunteer Team at Grampians Health Ballarat! Gain access to professional and personal development sessions, training, and special events. Make new friends while being part of our exciting hospital redevelopment. Ready to give back to your local community? Choose from nearly 30 Volunteer Programs supporting patients, carers, families, and healthcare staff.
From companionship to driving, retail to community services, and aged care, we have a wide range of volunteer opportunities. Whether it's patient transport, supporting cancer patients, community programs, our Volunteer Shop, or the emergency department, we have roles across our healthcare service.
Enjoy a full induction day, staff training, and special event invitations. We cover your onboarding costs, including police checks and necessary immunizations. We ask for a minimum 6-month commitment with a preference of 1 shift per week. Weekday availability is preferred, but we also offer weekend opportunities.

Covid-19 vaccination . Flu vaccination . National Police Certificate *. NDIS screening check . Working with Children Check *.
Please note, NDIS is applicable for Aged Care and Planned Activity Groups only.
We require a minimum 6-month commitment with a preference of 1 shift per week. The volunteer program mainly runs on weekdays but we do have some weekend opportunities available.
