Happy Paws Haven is animal rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming sanctuary for cats and dogs in the Clarence Valley in Northern NSW which provides adoption or re-homing services throughout Australia. At Happy Paws Haven our primary focus is on the animals in our care.
Happy Paws Haven is an incorporated, not for profit and endorsed animal care, welfare and adoption charity that was founded by Sally Rogers in July 2006 in the Grafton area of the Clarence Valley region in Northern NSW, Australia.
Each animal that enters the Happy Paws Haven shelter receives a proper veterinary check, microchipping, desexing and are well fed and cared for in a loving and caring environment, all of the animals are free roaming and are only locked in cages when they are sick.
Happy Paws Haven also has a no kill policy meaning that no animals are euthanised unless they are of course suffering an illness with no chance of recovery or suffer major behavioural issues that endanger other animals including humans. This only takes place if all other avenues of rehabilitation have failed.

to love dogs and cats, if you have trouble getting here we can arrange someone to pick you up at the beginning of Ryan Street South Grafton
Each day we need some one for about 4 -5 hours, longer if you wish but it does not need to be every day. You will need to commit to 1-2 half days a week as a minimum. Every 5 hours or voluntary work completed adds 5 points to the Job Seeker Requirement of 40 points per month.
