Fundraising Events volunteer
About this opportunity
Fundraising volunteers undertake a range of activities to support Living Proud's projects and services. This can include selling raffle tickets, staffing events and other fundraising activities.
Events volunteers promote Living Proud within general and LGBTIQ+ communities through information/community stalls and increase capacity through assisting at events, including fundraising events and during PrideFEST in November. Some events may require volunteers to be LGBTIQ+ peers but many do not.
All volunteers must hold non-judgmental attitudes towards people of diverse sexuality, sex and gender. More training is available in this area, if required
All Living Proud events volunteers are required to attend an Information Session (2 hours), apply for a police check (paid for by Living Proud) and agree to our Events volunteer code of conduct. Some roles may also require a Working With Children Check. Additional training is available, but not compulsory.
