Out of hours driver
About this opportunity
Launceston VFC are seeking reliable drivers who are able to assist by driving our community car: *once a month on a Tuesday evening approx 5pm to 8:30pm *Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings approx 5:30-6:30pm Drivers must have good communication skills, be able to work off a run sheet & take direction from staff. Volunteers are provided with an induction, buddy shift with an existing driver & ongoing support from our team.
Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate *.
An annual national police certificate is required, at no cost for our volunteers.
Due to insurance requirements drivers will need to be over 25 years of age and hold a full Tasmanian licence with at least 2 years of driving experience.
Please Note: As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the level of coverage for volunteers due to various restrictions to ensure they are covered for the roles they will be undertaking.
