Qualified Electrician

Environment & Conservation Regular - less than 6 months Doubleview WA

About this opportunity

We need an electrician!

Repair Cafe Doubleview is held once a month on the second Saturday. Members of the local community are encouraged to bring items along to be fixed, giving them a new lease of life. Our team of committed volunteers have a wide range of repairing skills, however we need more help with fixing the varied array of domestic appliances that come through our door.

We're seeking someone who:

  • is happy to give two hours of their time once a month (or less frequently, but we do need someone who can volunteer on a regular basis)
  • is a fully qualified electrician (retirees very welcome!)
  • enjoys being part of a very welcoming, friendly team committed to supporting the local community and reducing landfill
  • enjoys a free cup of tea and cake!

Our monthly event is held at The Guide Hall on the corner of Hancock St and Scarborough Beach Rd - there is ample free, off-road parking available. Essential tools are provided, plus you are welcome to bring your own.

Visit our Facebook page for more information - search for Repair Cafe Doubleview.

We are part of the worldwide, not for profit, Repair Cafe organisation. It is run by volunteers who offer their services to the community free of charge.
