Kindergarten Assistant
About this opportunity
We are looking for volunteers who enjoy working with pre-school children and are keen to assist staff with fun, educational activities and help with tidying & cleaning during the kinder session. Other tasks include: -Assisting staff to set up the learning environment, indoors and outdoors. -Assisting staff to clean up, wipe tables, wash paintbrushes etc. -Assisting children hang up paintings, read books, write names on work, and interactive play. You will be under the guidance & support of the teacher at all times.
Additional requirements
National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
-Good communication skills with children and staff
-Patience with children
-Good literacy skills to be able to read to children
-Able to follow directions and use initiative.
