As a volunteer with EHS you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical first aid skills at weekly divisional training, as well as providing lifesaving skills to the community. Being a part of a large volunteer team will help you connect with other likeminded volunteers in the Perth metropolitan area.

What you’ll do:

Provide a high level of customer service to all patients and stakeholders, act as a brand ambassador for St John WA. Provide medical support at community and public events. Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, patients and community members. Attend training sessions regularly at an EHS divisional location to ensure clinical skills are maintained in line with St John WA Clinical Practice Guidelines. Ensure equipment and vehicles are maintained and operationally ready. Work effectively with other team members, clients, and other emergency service personnel. Ensure safety and well-being of self and others in the workplace. Assist in other areas as requested by divisional leadership team.

Be over the age of 18
Have an ability to work in a professional workplace
Strong desire to help others
Physically able to perform CPR
Positive attitude
Great communication and presentation skills
Have initiative and enthusiasm
Ability to work in a team
Current form of photo ID
Hold a current National Police Clearance (obtained in the last 6 months or less)
