About this opportunity
The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre are advertising this role on behalf of Puffing Billy Railway (PBR).
We are looking for volunteers who have:
- A knowledge or willingness to learn carpentry and building skills needed to perform key duties
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the safe & efficient operation tools & equipment, including PPE
- Assist all Railway branches with building and infrastructure maintenance
- Assist visitors as required
- Act as a representative of Puffing Billy Railway
- Create photo opportunities for visitors
Skills and Attributes:
- Possess a basic mechanical ability
- Ability to work within a team and develop team commitment and cooperation
- Ability to partake in additional learning to acquire new skills as required
- Are Prepared to initiate conversations
- Friendliness
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Ability to be on your feet for most of the day
- Ability to lift heavy loads
Additional requirements
Heavy Lifting . National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.

Time Required
