The Fundraising Manager is responsible for diversifying OFA’s revenue sources and supporting our growth targets by developing a major gifts programme. This includes the identification, cultivation and solicitation of major donors, special campaigns, Trusts, Foundations, and pro bono services, and leveraging matched funding opportunities.

The Business Development team focuses on a key enablement part of OFA’s Operational Plan - sourcing funding from corporate partners and other funding sources to ensure strong relationships so that these partners and donors continue to partner with and give to OFA well into the future!


The Fundraising Manager’s core responsibilities are as follows:

  • Develop a fundraising strategy to assist in the growth of the business development function.
  • Develop a pipeline of opportunities to meet OFA’s revenue targets, and actively nurture these towards completion.
  • Provide quarterly forecasting for the fundraising function to the National Business Development Director.
  • Work with and guide the Fundraising Coordinator towards contributing to fundraising goals which feed up into the Business Development function.
  • Small volume of reporting on the fundraising function, or on projects being undertaken, to the National Business Development Director on a monthly basis or as required.
  • Drafting or contributing to thought leadership, social media posts and other content as required.

Additional requirements

Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.

Time Required

6 - 8 hours per week.
