About this opportunity
We are seeking a volunteer to provide invaluable 1-1 social support to one of our residents, whilst conversing in Polish. Visits can be spent engaging in simple leisure activities, reading to the resident or simply taking the time to take them on a stroll down memory lane about time spent in their home country.
Having companionship greatly enhances the quality of life of residents who may otherwise be lonely and socially isolated.
Bethanie has wonderful supportive staff who will assist you to make sure your volunteer journey is a successful and enjoyable experience!

- If volunteering at a Bethanie NDIS service location, applicants will need to obtain a NDIS Screening for Volunteers (further information discussed at interview)
- Record of having full COVID-19 vaccination (3x vaccinations for volunteers aged 18+, 2x vaccinations for volunteers aged under 18)
- Record of having (or willing to undertake) 2024 influenza vaccination.
- Willing to complete online learning modules

This role can be undertaken with a minimum of one hour per fortnight. Volunteering can be scheduled around your availability, any time between 9am - 5pm on weekdays or weekends.
