About this opportunity
Stroke Recovery Clubs/Groups operate in local communities in NSW and under the affiliation of the Stroke Recovery Association NSW. All volunteers will be working with individuals who have experienced Stroke with varying degrees of disability and communication levels.
Volunteer will be
- Assist in the running of meeting and activities
- Assist with setting up tables and chairs
- Provide emotional support & friendship to members
- Assist people from bus/car into Club/ Group/venue or other venues
- Make tea/coffee and help with food preparation
- Assist with games and activities at the Club/ Group

Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *.
The Sutherland club meets on Monday on a monthly basis. The meeting duration is usually 2 hours. Approximately monthly requirement: up to 5 hours per month for each role. Weekdays only
