About this opportunity

The Events Coordinator supports the development of the event entertainment program and leading coordination of entertainment on the event. You will have the assistance and guidance from the committee members in the lead up of the event. You will also approach local businesses for support and donations. You will also have to apply for grants to help pay for the event. You will have to set up and take down for the event on the day.
You will also have to work within a team to to help organise a minimum of four major fundraising events per year. This also includes sourcing and booking venues and entertainment, also promoting the event on Facebook, selling tickets and organising promotional material for the event. You will be required to recruit and manage volunteers for the event.


Additional requirements

Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.

Be able to work individually as well as a team environment.

Time Required

Attend a meeting once a month with a commitment of 6 month minimum, 5 hours a week.
