Our best-practice, school-based program is proven to make positive and sustained change. Mentoring empowers young people to be resilient, connected and hopeful for the future. We match trained personnel with relevant mentors and we enable them to get their foot in the door by having a job.

Our early employment program is currently in over 10 projects across NSW and Victoria. This translates to over 35 vulnerable people matched with a qualified mentor, and we are growing each year.

  • About the Role

This is a volunteer position for 5 to 10 hours per week supporting Marketing and Social Media aspects of the TQN business.

You will be involved in the following tasks:

• Support the development and delivery of digital and social strategies and plans to raise awareness and positively promote the vision, mission and objectives of the social enterprise. • Develop content aligned to our brand voice and strategic objectives, from social media posts and video content to signage, flyers/brochures, infographics etc. • Plan and craft compelling content, both visual and written, that drives action from our supporters, grows followers and converts followers to active, engaged supporters • Utilise a range of social platforms and programs to ensure content is reaching the right audiences • Liaise with the Leadership team to develop and promote revenue generating activities and events • Bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to the way we undertake marketing and fundraising activities • Support the production and distribution of a bi-monthly newsletter=

We are looking for someone who has:

Genuine passion in working with and supporting young people Relevant experience in marketing and content creation (with appropriate qualifications) Prior experience in a similar marketing and social media role Experience interpreting marketing reports Excellent organisation and coordination skills High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks Warm and polite approach with people Prior experience in marketing space is ideal Completion of TQN selection process
