About this opportunity

To engage in a weekly visit with a range of older people who live in residential aged care. To provide companionship and share stories that helps individuals feel valued and important. To work with older people, it is important that your animal is calm and responds well to your instruction.
Your presence and positivity will be essential and will make an important impact on the daily lives of the older people in our community. Animals will need to be up to date with their vaccinations and be up to date with worming.


Additional requirements

Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *. Others .

Up to date immunisation including flu vaccination for volunteer
Evidence of current vaccination status and worming required for animal.
Two reference checks will also need to be completed.
