Toy library volunteer

Education & Training Regular - less than 6 months Richlands QLD

About this opportunity

We are looking for people that share our passion of supporting the development of children and wellbeing of families, to help run our Brisbane South Toy Library. Our venue is family friendly and kids are very welcome to hang out while you are on your volunteer duties.

As a Toy Library Volunteer, your duties may include: Greeting Toy Library members and support with toy selection. Use the Toy Library online database (SETLs) to check toys in and out. Check toys for safety and return the toys to their appropriate location. Update returned toy status and condition on SETLs. Organise and maintain the toy library in a logical and visually pleasing way. Skills and attributes you will need: Friendly, approachable and helpful personality. Trustworthy and reliable. Good computer skills and digital literacy, including experience using a database (or be a quick IT learner). We are looking to fill morning shifts (9.00am - 11.30am) on Thursday and every second Saturday.

Because we strongly support and maintain the safety of children, you will need to hold a Positive Notice Blue Card (or we can help you obtain one).
