Volunteer Facilitators for Seniors Walking Group -

Seniors & Aged Care One off - an event Seven Hills NSW

About this opportunity

A group of senior clients of Karabi will meet at Grantham Reserve every Wednesday morning and exercise together with the support of volunteer facilitators.

Volunteer facilitators will be asked to take a turn to pick up and transport a portable table, chairs, and packed backpacks to the park and return the gear after the group.

Volunteer facilitators are required to ensure that the Covid 19 safety measures are in place at all times and complete necessary paperwork.

All volunteer facilitators are asked to work as a team, and each member will take turns to run the warm-up and cool down routines before and after the walk. One volunteer will be leading the group, and others will walk with ones who require one-on-one assistance, assisting the use of the gym equipment, as well as minding the valuables at the table and completing paperwork.

The casual morning tea will be provided after each walk.

Volunteer facilitators are encouraged to promote friendships between the walkers and build up positive relationships
