Customer Service Assistant / Tour Leader

Museums & Heritage Regular - more than 6 months Alice Springs NT

About this opportunity

Key tasks: • Greet visitors, welcome them into the museum and engage with them • Conduct Museum tours • Set up tea and coffee station • Money handling • Maintain a high level of customer service • Perform light cleaning duties.

Essential skills and requirements: • Friendly and approachable with the ability to interact positively with people • Good communication skills • Reliable and flexible • National Police Check and Ochre Card (if current ones not held, we can organise them for you) • Fully COVID-19 Vaccinated.

You will: • Develop your skills and experience within a museum setting • Enhance your communication skills • Gain personal satisfaction of helping visitors have an enjoyable and memorable experience • Volunteer in a beautiful environment • Gain knowledge of history of Alice Springs from the early 1900's.

Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.

Time Required

Volunteers are required for following shifts: Monday to Friday, 10am - 1pm or 1pm - 4 pm; Saturday 10am - 12pm.
