Volunteer Transport Driver
About this opportunity
We are seeking a volunteer to provide safe and comfortable transport to various destinations e.g. GP, Shopping, Hospital appointments, etc. to and from clients homes.
Astley Care is a community based organisation and the job will suit people who would love to give back to the community, or for people who have an oblication to complete some Volunteering hours for Centrelink. Volunteers will be supported and trained by a great team of staff and other volunteers who are already in similar roles. Astley Care Vehicles are provided.
Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate *.
Good driving record, patience, valid drivers licence, willingness to be a part of a team or can work individually and able bodied so they can support the elderley
Mon - Fri when required
Type of work- Driving & Transportation
Induction will be given prior to commencing.
