About us

Little Helpers on the Run is an initiative to teach our kids to be valuable and better citizens through acts of kindness and compassion to all of humanity. With a growing and committed team of young at heart volunteers, our Little Helpers have delivered more than 4000 projects working in partnership with Schools, Nursing Homes and many other community organisations to support the vulnerable in our society.

Location: Burwood Library

Days: 11th and 12th of December 10am - 6pm

About the role

Little Helpers on the Run are seeking an experienced Photographer/Videographer. The latter can volunteer their time to help our children and record and edit the videos they aim to record for community helpers and the elderly at nursing homes and raise the covid related awareness. They are also hoping to photograph a project related to domestic violence.

The suitable volunteer will have the following attributes:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to take instruction as well as work independently
  • Experience in related field
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills
  • Proficiency with required professional editing tools

Training

Training and induction sessions will be provided about the organisation’s vision, mission, and expectations. Little Helpers on the Run are mindful and trained to support volunteers with social distancing, health and safety procedures.
