About Us

Sir Roden & Lady Cutler Foundation drive the seriously or terminally ill, elderly or infirm, all over Sydney, including the Inner West of Sydney. They take them, free of charge, to hospitals, medical clinics, specialist appointment, physiotherapy or any health related appointments when referred by a doctor or social worker, and occasionally to social groups when they are socially isolated.

Location: Sydney Areas

Times: Ongoing Mondays to Fridays – 8am to 4pm (although times vary dependent on need)

About the role

Sir Roden & Lady Cutler Foundation is seeking Drivers to pick people up and drive them to and from their medical appointments during the working week Monday to Friday. This is a FREE service and helps those in our community most at need to get to critical medical appointments and therefore help enhance their quality of life, autonomy and overall independence.

The foundation provides the vehicles to volunteers to use during their volunteer shift.

Drivers are not carers as such and are only required to drive our clients from home to their medical appointments and back again.

Requirements:

  • Must have a full Class C Driver’s License
  • Covid-19 vaccination
  • Working with Children Check
  • Must agree to National Police Check conducted by the Foundation
