About this opportunity
The Jetty relies on the assistance of our wonderful volunteers to greet visitors and provide advice on the array of experiences on offer. Jetty Hosts get to meet people from all around the world at one of the most iconic and beautiful attractions in Western Australia. It provides a great sense of community and many new friendships are made.
You will: Greet visitors to the Busselton Jetty's Interpretive Centre. Assist with information on fishing, history, Busselton bylaws and underwater observatory etc. Offer details on ticketing, prices and train tour departures. Assist Jetty staff when required.
Additional requirements
Fill in application form. Interviews conducted on a Mon morning.
Orientation and induction days are conducted throughout the year over 2 days - 2 hrs per day, dates to be advised
Applicant needs to be:
A reliable team member.
Willing to become a member of Busselton Jetty Inc (cost $5.00 per annum).
Prepared to volunteer a minimum of two half days per month.
Willing to commit to a roster.
Able to participate in a half day induction.

General Tasks
Be friendly and non-confrontational at all times.
Greet visitors with a smile.
Offer advice on ticketing, prices and tour departure.
When required, offer knowledge about fishing, history, City by-laws etc.
Collect rubbish.
Assist jetty staff when required..
1/2 day shifts any day of week. Willing and able to work at least two half-days a month.
