About this opportunity

We are looking for a reliable Volunteer Bus Drivers to drive a 22 seat bus with wheel chair facilities for our wonderful Aged Care residents at Immanuel Gardens. You will be accompanied by Creative Lifestyle facilitators and professional carers on each bus trip. The second Bus Driver will drive a 10 seat bus which does not require a Heavy Vehicle Licence, to take Retirement Village residents on outings.


Additional requirements

Driver's Licence (C) . Driver's Licence (HR) . National Police Certificate *. NDIS screening check .

Lutheran Services will apply and pay for your Police Check and or NDIS Workers Screening Card.

Time Required

Tuesdays for the 22 Seater Bus. Mondays and Wednesdays for the 10 Seater Bus. Twice a month.

Training

All Volunteers are given basic training training as part of their induction process. Training in wheel chair access and bus safety is also included.
