About this opportunity
We have a number of residents who would benefit from interacting with volunteers who speak German.
Visits can be spent doing something both you and the residents enjoy whether that be reading, listening to music, chatting, reminiscing or going for a walk.
Our friendly team will be there to guide and support you.
As little as half an hour a week can make a significant difference to someone’s life.

Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . Flu vaccination . National Police Certificate *. Others .
- NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain at Bethanie's expense).
- Record of having full COVID-19 vaccination (3x vaccinations for volunteers aged 18+, 2x vaccinations for volunteers aged under 18)
- Record of having (or willing to undertake) 2024 influenza vaccination.
- Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of the Bethanie Group Inc.
This role is flexible and likely to be able to be scheduled around your availability.
