About this opportunity

The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Kew Community Festival.

Role requirements: Identifying Donors – for this task you would need to:

  • Identify potential areas of interest for fundraising action
  • Undertake a scan of interest groups across the philanthropic and charities sector, identifying possible donors with interest in or links to Arts, Culture, Education, Food, Music, Property
  • Create profiles of possible donors outlining their structure, goals, donor history and contact details, and present this to the fundraising group

Approaching Potential Donors – for this task you would need to:

  • Contact potential donors either through direct calling or email
  • Working from the information collected in the first phase, be the first point of contact for Kew Community Festival Inc. to potential donors and arrange meetings and discussion with donors
  • Be able to present the Kew Festival story and value add to the donor


Additional requirements

National Police Certificate *.

You need to be a resident of Melbourne, Victoria to express interest in this role.

Time Required

Time commitment – 10 hours each month over a 6 month period
