About this opportunity
The position is part of a team of volunteers, who provide essential services to Adssi In-home Support clients to enable them to remain living independently. The volunteer is responsible for delivering a safe and reliable transport service for the clients of Adssi In-home Support and may include assisting clients from door into/out of vehicle, assisting with walkers, supporting functions required to ensure smooth group event such as entering/exiting building safely, ordering meals/tickets and assisting to bathroom. Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . Driver's Licence (LR) . Medical Check *. National Police Certificate *.
ADSSI require all staff/volunteers to be vaccinated against COVID-19 (2 doses and booster). It is essential to hold a current NSW LR/MR or HR license and have a safe driving record. Current First Aid Certificate (training provided if you don't have one).
You will have a mobile phone and access to an active email address with the ability to receive and send emails.
This role has flexibility in timing. Ideally the volunteer driver would be able to nominate regular day/s for the role to assist in transport scheduling. Normally, a driving shift will fall within the span of hours 9.30 am and 4.00 pm.
